An entrepreneur talk program held on the last Thursday of every month of the georgian calendar. The executive secretary of Chambers of Industries Morang, Mr Somnath Adhikari was the guest speaker for this month. Mr Adhikari is a regular writer and an author of many books on journalism and business among other disciplines. He is also a recipient of awards like Silver Jubilee award from Government of Nepal and Jerusalem Jury Award from Government of Israel among others. He has remained executive secretary of Chambers of Industries for past 25 years. He was a government employee for 5 years and then completed his study in 1990 from Biratnagar in Business. He did his masters in rural development. He stressed young people not to shy away from trying out new ideas. In 2002, he was in Israel to attend an entrepreneur workshop and there he observed that the Israeli kids studying in grade 5 were being incubated to start their own enterprise. Such practice has already started to take place in India and other countries as well. He talked about the opportunities in the field of business and how one can find opportunities inside ones own business. He also talked about the preparation one needs to do while doing a business. He advised young entrepreneur to analyse the market and conduct survey and to understand the market. The participants ranging from school level to university level students interacted with Mr Adhikari.
