These are some of the tempting motto that might have caught your attention. And many often fall to the prey. The promises made on ads are practically impossible. However, whether its money or fame, most of us choose shortcuts and unquestionably, fruit yielded from shortcuts has shorter life. Learning a second language has never been easy and quick. Likewise, English as a second language has always been difficult to acquire for everyone although the study began right from the early school days. We may have improved our writing but communication has been a hard rock to break. In the process of acquiring second language, the dominant language i.e. mother tongue, Nepali, barricades the learning process. Though, this can't be alone responsible for hindrance. Today, i will give you some tips on how you can improve your communication in English Language though having challenges.

Students, First you must understand that learning a new language (English) needs a great deal of patience and hard work. For instance, if an American visits Nepal for a month, his dedication may earn him some words and few sentences of Nepali language. Nonetheless we can't expect him to have excellent proficiency within a short span of time. So, to master Nepali language, the foreigner needs ample of time and rigorous practice. In the same way, you must have an ardent passion and devotion for much longer time to excel English language. Second, read anything of English(Stories, Novels, Magazines, News). This will enrich your strength over vocabulary. I will present an example which is very relatable with the situation you might have got in. Suppose you are late to school and the teacher questions you for the reason. You have your reason in mind though you will stay numb or not even try to utter any words. You will run out of words or don't exactly find the right words to express the situation. Without a doubt, your range of diction is poor. Therefore, be a voracious reader. Read anything in English that interests you.

Apart from this, Reading enhances your grammatical knowledge unconsciously. Having good knowledge of English grammar nourishes the base of English language. However it is an impractical task for you to remember and recall diverse grammatical structures to form expressions every time when you find yourself in various situations. Even though if the speaker manages to recall grammatical structures, it will take some time to process it into expression. The conversation will have numerous long pauses which will be less interesting to get involved with. Whereas reading a book offers you many different context which will involuntarily familiarize with the style of expression and words executed in multiple context. (Note: Choose something very easy to start with) Third, be ignorant to your mistakes. While learning an English Language, the process will lead you to the abyss of mistakes. As said, It is better to die trying than doing nothing. You mustn't be discouraged from the mistakes you commit in the course of learning. I am aware of how you lack environment to groom your practice in typical Nepali community where your parents and neighbors barely understand English. Many will work hard to pull you down from your practice. Find someone like-minded and keep up with your passion. If you yet lack a conducive environment, your school is the right place to materialize your learning intention where you are not the only one to have errors while you speak. Give your two years of practice at school , that will be suffice to build the base. As said, 'Rome was not built in a day'. Likewise, perfection is the result of perpetual dedication and perseverance.

Last, Listen to English Podcast (Google Podcast). Despite of fluency in language, the pronunciation of word elevates the standard of it. Speaking practice within your friends circle will help you in fluency, exchange and exploit novel words, and build confidence. Nonetheless correct articulation of words are not less important to consider. To learn the correct pronunciation of words, it is an excellent idea to communicate with native speakers, and finding them in our locality is almost impossible. Instead, podcast can bring natives in your pocket. For instance, Google podcast offers numerous international channels where the content are related to your studies, like science, history etc and some of them are dedicated to help passionate English learner. Channels like, All Ears English, Ted Talks Daily, Story Time, Story Nory etc. Thus, Listening to these podcast channels enhances your listening skill in addition and familiarizes with the correct articulation of words.

In conclusion, Students must keep themselves surrounded by books of their interest and spend a greater time in penetrating through it. In addition, they mustn't be hesitant to communicate rather take initiation for conversation, and also develop a habit of listening to an English podcast channel for an hour a day. Having a good knowledge of English language opens the doors of opportunities in the future as possessing language skill will be an advantage in a competitive world.

Therefore, considering the above ideas will help you improve your communication in English language,
